Alex Flanagan
She earned her degree from at the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She is employed by the NFL Network as an anchor/reporter as well as NBC Sports as a sideline reporter for the Notre Dame home football games as well as for Football Night in America. Flanagan can be heard and observed in the well-known gaming video Madden 10 and Madden 11 and hosts the weekly game recap along with Fran Charles. Alex hails from Sonoita, Arizona. She's got a husband, the former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. They have two daughters and one son. Alex's father owns two Arizona steakhouses: The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan got a head start on her career as a journalist and anchor in the college years as an intern in the student section of KVOA-TV as well as starting to cover sporting events in the year 1998. Flanagan was a reporter and anchor on NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. In addition, she was a Gamma Phi Beta sister. Flanagan's initial job on TV was as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota, after she graduated. In this role, she worked for a total of two years with WSFA-TV located in Montgomery, Alabama.
